Our Mission

We help artists and musicians by providing grant support for the recording process.

Recordings are the gateway into and the fuel of today's music industry, and they are fundamental to humanity's expression. Our grants support the creative process while providing opportunities for producers, engineers, studios, and more.

In short, our grants

Record Music and Create Jobs.

Problem

The music business primarily benefits third parties, not those who create it. Artists struggle at every step of the creative process to make the music we all love. Meanwhile, big tech's appetite for AI training data is fueling a new wave of exploitation.

Solution

Choose to do good in the music industry. Support artists with grants that help them create, despite the flaws in today's system. Reject the industry status quo and value artists and musicians as critical cultural contributions, not just business ventures.

Outcome

Good music that is made by artists who feel valued, hopeful, and supported. Done in a way that multiplies impact by creating jobs for professionals, opportunities for artists, and sets a new tone for what is possible in the music industry.

Our Values

We believe that music can be much more than trends and profit.

Music, Not Product

We believe music is an essential part of our humanity, not just another thing to buy and sell.

Gateways, Not Gatekeepers

Opportunity creates possibility. We think some great music can be made when we open doors and create bridges.

Non Merit-Based Giving

Streams, followers, and accolades don't count as much as drive and dedication.
