J Solomon's indie pop rock anthem, "Lying Around," blends his storytelling sensibilities with an uptempo, guitar-driven, infectious sound, highlighting J's undeniable voice and unique, personable vocal delivery. J Solomon's story-focused music draws inspiration from notable artists like Townes Van Zandt, Bon Iver, Frou Frou, Big Thief, and Pinegrove. Following a sports-related brain injury nearly a decade ago, J Solomon has been diligently crafting the best music he can. The early success of his debut EP motivated him to fully commit to his music career, prompting a move from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles to expand his horizons. Shortly after relocating, he began working on his sophomore release, "KILL THE ROCKSTAR." A grant from Recording Fund enabled him to delve deeply into the production process to create the best track possible, while helping alleviate the financial strain of making quality recordings.

J Solomon exemplifies a hardworking artist whose passion is limited only by time constraints and financial resources. Supporting the growth of emerging artists like him is central to our mission.
